Back to Earth the letters sent from FINLANDIA 2017 to the International Space Station!

 
 

This Åland post card was postmarked at the “Finlandia-2017” FEPA exhibition in Tampere and addressed to the crew of the International Space station (ISS). Being delivered to Russia, the card was handed over to the crew of the Russian "Soyuz MS-05” spacecraft to be delivered to the ISS. Then the card was delivered to the ISS. To document the delivery, on board the station the card was marked with board seals including the Russian official “Russian Post. ISS. Russian Segment” round board post mark dated July 29, 2017, the day when the “Soyuz MS-05” spacecraft docked with the ISS.  

 

 

First the letter was postmarked at the “Finlandia-2017” FEPA exhibition in Tampere, Finland and sent to Moscow. Then the letter was delivered to the ISS by the Russian "Soyuz MS-05” spacecraft. To document the delivery, on board the station the letter was marked with all proper board seals including the Russian official “Russian Post. ISS.
