82nd FSPL Congress in Mamer: New Statutes Approved and Partial Board Restructuring
On Saturday, 22 March 2025, delegates from the stamp collecting clubs organised within the Fédération des Sociétés Philatéliques du Grand-Duché du Luxembourg gathered at Mamer Schlass. The President of the Cercle Philatélique Mamer, Mr. Ralph Letsch, the President of the FSPL, Mr. Jos Wolff, RDP, and the General Director of Post Luxembourg, Mr. Claude Strasser, welcomed all attendees.
After the lunch break, the delegates moved on to the core agenda. As he has done for the past 32 years, Jos Wolff chaired the harmonious assembly with his usual expertise and guided the meeting through the agenda. The FSPL’s 2025 annual program was presented, and the new statutes were discussed and approved.
Four board members, including the outgoing President and three Vice Presidents—Claude Feck, Francy Krack, and Andrée Trommer—did not seek re-election. Andrée Trommer also served as the FSPL Treasurer. The newly elected board members for a four-year term are Louise Nilles (Dudelange Club), Jean-Louis Reuter (Ettelbrück Club), Jeannot Piron (Rodange Club), and Guy Jungblut (Steinsel Club). Additionally, Charles Bingen (Berdorf Club) was elected for a two-year term. The Bureau Permanent was further strengthened with Michel Kirsch (Differdange Club), André Weber (Wormeldange Club), and Aloyse Jacoby (Kleinbettingen Club).
The assembly elected Lars Böttger (Echternach Club) as the new FSPL President. In recognition of their decades of service, the outgoing Treasurer, Andrée Trommer, was named an honorary member of the Bureau Permanent, and Jos Wolff was appointed Honorary President.
The 82nd FSPL Congress concluded at approximately 4:15 PM.
