BALKANFILA XIX in Belgrade: 12-14 October
This year’s Balkanfila XIX is organised by the Union of Philatelists of Serbia, which has hosted the event twice in the past: Balkanfila VI (1977) in Belgrade and Balkanfila XI (1987) in Novi Sad. The long history of Balkanfila exhibitions started in 1965, when the Union of Bulgarian Philatelists organised Balkanfila I, held in Varna.
The exhibition will take place at the Дом Војске Србије (Central Military Club of Serbia) in Belgrade between 12 and 14 October, under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the support of the Serbian Post. Twelve countries will participate: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Turkey.
