The Blue Book of Philately from the Danish Federation
The idea to publish the Filateliens Blå Bog (Blue Book of Philately in English) was introduced in 2010 by the Danish Philatelic Federation (DFF). The book includes prominent Danish philatelists or foreign philatelists deeply involved with Danish philately. The criteria for admission are:
- Author of books, publications or important articles on Danish philately.
- Danish exhibitor who has at least achieved a Gold medal at a national exhibition.
- Recipient of the Denmark Medal and/or the DFF’s gold pin as an honorary member.
- Danish juror.
- Chairman of DFF and/or Danish representative in international philatelic organisations.
- Foreign philatelist who is or has been important to Danish philately.
Earlier this year, the DFF decided to upload the updated version of the Blue Book on its website, freely available to anyone interested.
