BOSTON 2026 Exhibit Deadline Nears
Thomas M. Fortunato, BOSTON 2026 Public Relations Chair, reports from BOSTON 2026.
Prospective philatelic exhibitors to the Boston 2026 World Expo are reminded that the deadline for entries is September 30.
Unlike FIP international exhibitions in the past, Boston 2026 is receiving applications directly from exhibitors and exclusively online through the show’s web site, www.boston2026.org. Dzintars Grinfelds, Deputy Commissioner General, is handling the technical aspects of the process and responding to inquiries.
“I’ve received several comments from exhibitors who appreciate our efforts in making the application procedures simple. Having the ability to easily enter then update submitted information and paperwork as needed is a big plus,” said Dzintars. “There has been a clear uptick in the rate at which entries are coming in with the deadline approaching.”
It is not uncommon that the bulk of applications are received in the last month of entry, as exhibitors finalize appropriate paperwork and some attempt to fulfill the minimum qualification requirements. That’s especially true for some GASS exhibitors, taking place mid-August in suburban Chicago. Exhibitors showing first-time international competitive exhibits are especially welcome to apply, as at least 20% of total frames are reserved for their use.
