DOBRICH FILEX 2024

DOBRICH FILEX 2024 was a national Maximaphily exhibition with international participation, celebrating 145 years since the independence of Bulgaria and the introduction of the first postal and fiscal stamps in 1879.
The exhibits were displayed in approximately 200 frames, including several dedicated to postal history and revenues. It was a high-class exhibition, and with the support of the Bulgarian Philatelist Union, the Bulgarian Post, and the Town Hall of Dobrich, the opening celebration was a real success. Approximately 100 children from four schools participated in the opening ceremony and staged an extraordinary show.
When a special new stamp, stationery, or even a postmark was released by the Bulgarian Post, I was pleasantly surprised by the large number of kids who showed interest in these materials. I thank the organisers, and I am delighted to have participated in this national event.
