Royal Mail at EuroPhilEx 2025
Royal Mail will have a stand at EuroPhilEx 2025, the international stamp exhibition being held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, from Wednesday, 7 May, until Sunday, 11 May.
On sale will be a new series of stamps marking Valour and Victory: Stories of the Second World War being issued on 1 May. The ten stamps will be accompanied by a miniature sheet featuring Dame Vera Lynn, the Forces Sweetheart.
The miniature sheet will also be on sale from the Royal Mail stand in a limited edition, specially overprinted to mark EuroPhilEx Birmingham 2025. This will be a numbered edition of 7,500 sheets, available at £6.60 each.
Also on sale will be a Collector Sheet titled ‘Victory Stamps, 1946 Symbols of Peace and Reconstruction’. The sheets, printed in litho and self-adhesive, will feature ten of the Union Flag 1st class stamp issued last year, plus ten labels. These will depict the 2½d and 3d stamps, designed by Edmund Dulac and H. L. Palmer, that were issued in 1946 on the theme of ‘Peace and Reconstruction’, together with eight of the designs that were submitted by various artists but not adopted. The Collector Sheet is priced at £17.70 each.
There will also be a special EuroPhilEx postmark available for each day of the exhibition.
