The AFPT has played a leading role in the development of thematic philately at national and international level, being a key reference for all French speaking collectors. Over more than 50 years the AFPT has been engaged in supporting collectors, organizing exhibitions and issuing important publications. A number of its members have played a key role in the French Federation and in local and regional organisations.
