Circolo Filatelico (Philatelic Circle) “Tres Tabernae” – Cisterna di Latina (Italy)
The Circolo Filatelico “Tres Tabernae”, since its foundation in 1969, has been deeply involved in the organised philately. It started immediately to develop philatelic events and exhibitions every year, firstly at the local level, but soon they became more important until reaching national relevance. The society organised several “Day of Philately” events and selections of the Italian philatelic cadet Championship, recently followed by national philatelic exhibitions in 2018, 2019, 2020 (virtual), 2022 and 2023. One of its main focuses is to promote philately using topical cancellations in different events (sport, religion, history, aviation, militaria) and to cooperate with other philatelic societies for this purpose. So far, 220 cancellations have been conceived and used, thanks to the society.
