PARIS-PHILEX 2022 will take place in Hall 5.1, at the Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, from 23 to 25 June.
The exhibition is organised by CNEP (Chambre syndicale des Experts et Négociants en Philatélie), FFAP (Fédération Française des Associations Philatéliques), La Poste (The French Post) and l’Adphile (French organisation in support of philately).
26 exhibits will compete for this year’s Championnat. The 95th Annual Congress of the FFAP will take place on 25 June.

Two renowned philatelists from Spain, both exceptional researchers, Fernando Aranaz del Río and Eugenio de Quesada, have been awarded with the Medal of the Civil Order of Postal Merit (la Placa de la Orden Civil al Mérito Postal), which will be formally bestowed by the Grand Chancellor of the Order, the Minister of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. It is the first time that this prestigious decoration has been awarded to postal history researchers.

The STAMPA 2022 Organisers sent out a Newsletter yesterday to announce that the National Irish National Exhibition will be back in October 2022:
2022 marks 100 Years of Irish Postage Stamps and also 50 years of STAMPA. It also marks the first STAMPA Irish National Stamp Exhibition since 2019 due to the Covid pandemic. So… we have lots of reasons to celebrate.
STAMPA 2022 will run from 7th to 9th October and take place in the Griffith College, Dublin. We will have an exciting new category titled ‘Modern Philately’ which focuses on stamp issues from the last forty years. This is in addition to the recently added ‘Postcard’ category. More details shall follow and they will also be available on www.stampa.ie
