The 60th Spanish National Philatelic Exhibition Exfilna 2022 is scheduled to take place next fall in the city of Irún, in the Basque Country, on the border between Spain and France.
A couple of days ago the website of the exhibition was launched announcing the organising committee, the regional commissioners, the regulations and the application form for the exhibitors. There is more to come in the days ahead. 600 frames are expected to participate in the exhibition, in which France is this year’s invited country.
Exfilna 2022 will take place between 21 and 25 September and is under FEPA recognition.

Helvetia 2022 organisers came up with an interesting offer to their exhibitors: they had asked them to select and send before 15 March the images of up to 12 pages of their exhibits. When the jurors receive and examine these sample pages they will certainly be better prepared towards their final evaluations.
One might suggest that if the complete exhibits had been asked to be sent two months in advance, it would have been of much greater help to the jurors. Isn’t that true though that more than half of the exhibitors are working with their exhibit pages up to the last minute?
The World Stamp Exhibition Helvetia 2022 will take place in Lugano from 18 to 22 May.

We read in Vaccari News today that it was 8th March 2003 when their webpage was released. The first post was about Aldo Capitini’s “flag of peace”, a topic quite relevant to today’s Ukraine conflict, as their own webmaster commented.
The webpage is in Italian and the majority of the news have to do with Italian philately. However, Vaccari News never misses any important international philatelic piece. In today’s post they proudly announced they have surpassed 23000 pieces of news during these past 19 years! A major accomplishment and a major service to the philatelic community.
