Since its establishment in London in 1666, Spink & Son Ltd. has grown to become a superior auction house for rarities worldwide. It specialises in the auctioning and private sales of stamps, coins, banknotes, medals, bonds & shares, autographs, books, wine & spirits, and lifestyle collectables.
Spink Insider was first published in 2009 and is currently released three times per annum. Along with articles of interest relating to areas in which the business specialises, it includes previews and reviews of upcoming Spink auctions.
Following a decision at the FESOFI General Assembly held in Madrid on 5th March, the FESOFI Medal was awarded to:
Alcañiz Philatelic and Numismatic Group (organisation)
Miguel Ángel García Fernández (individual)
The FESOFI Medals will be presented to the awardees at the EXFILNA-JUVENIA 2023 Palmares dinner on 22nd April.
In addition, the Medal of Philatelic Merit will be presented by the Council of the Civil Order of Postal Merit and the Medal of Philatelic Merit, following a decision at the 31st March meeting. The awardees are:
Following our earlier post on 20th February, we report that the deadline for THAILAND 2023 WSC entry forms has been extended until 30th April. In the meantime, the exhibition website is under construction at http://www.thailand2023wsc.com.
Prospective applicants should submit their applications through their respective National Commissioners.
