ALPEN-ADRIA 2024 Awards

ALPEN-ADRIA 2024 multinational exhibition was held in Amberg, Germany, between 13 and 15 September. The Grand Prix was awarded to Artur Banas for his exhibit “Alpine Skiing – One of the Most Popular Winter Sports”.

The six-member jury was chaired by Thomas Hoepfner (Bavaria) and included Dr. Ernesto Claudio Manzati (Italy), Werner Schindler (Austria), Julije Maras (Croatia), Istvan Glatz (Hungary), and Peter Suhadolc (Slovenia).

AIEP Platinum Jubilee Congress

The Association Internationale des Experts en Philatelie (AIEP) will celebrate its 70th anniversary in Copenhagen, during HAFNIA 24. The Platinum Jubilee Congress will take place on Saturday, 19 October 2024.

The programme includes:

Official presentation of the Platinum Jubilee Book of the AIEP A world of philatelic fakes and forgeries.
Official presentation of the new FFE Journal by Claes Arnup and Thomas Mathà
Awarding of the Hunziker Medal 2020–2023
Jubilee talks by Thomas Mathà, Richard Gratton, Hans Wilderbeek, and Tobias Huylmans

“Phil”, as he is known, has been trained on content derived from the 2,500 Philatelic websites that comprise the current Philately.Live ecosystem platform. You can ask it any question. The Bot is found at the lower right when you visit Philately.Live (Phil has an uncanny resemblance to the United States 16th president — he is fairly well known outside the US as well).

Try it out right now, but be patient, this is not like a direct connection to ChatGPT, it is using the Philately.Live data and it may take a minute to respond, but it will.
