We have been informed that the Association of Stamp Catalogue, Stamp Album and Philatelic Magazine Traders (ASCAT) will wind up its activities later this year. It was founded in 1977 to defend the professional activities of its members and is currently based in Germany.
Residual funds will be transferred to the non-profit organisation ‘Kinderlachen’.

The competition to select the most popular EUROPA stamp for 2020 is now underway. The theme is ‘Ancient Postal Routes’ and candidate stamps have been selected because they illustrate this theme in different ways.
All philatelic enthusiasts, postal fans or lovers of history are invited to vote on-line for their favourite stamp. To find the list of candidates and cast a vote, go to www.posteurop.org/europa2020.
Voting closes on 9 September 2020 so go to the website and vote now! The winners will be announced in October.
