The British Thematic Association (BTA) is delighted to report a record level of interest from young people entering the biennial One-Page Virtual Competition.
The 2025 One-Page Virtual Competition attracted 76 entries—24 of which were from youngsters 12 to 17 years old—from eight countries. Run every two years, the competition aims to encourage both experienced collectors and those new to the hobby. Telling a clear story in a single page is not easy, but the results were impressive, with three out of 52 adult entries receiving a Diamond award—the top award presented in this competition.

Phila-France 2025 welcomed philatelists in Colmar for four days in June. The programme featured the annual French championship, youth collections, numerous lectures, stage entertainment including the popular battles timbrées (stamp battles), association booths, and many dealers from France and abroad.
The exhibition “Relive France… the reinvented collection” was also presented to the public, accompanied by a treasure hunt open to all! Local heritage, gastronomy, and culture were also celebrated, with folk dancers in traditional costumes and stands offering regional products.
