John Davies RDP has sent us the details about the forthcoming Great Britain Philatelic Society (GBPS) meetings. On Saturday, 14 December, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm (London time), Darin P. Cherniwhan will give a presentation on Digital Philately via Zoom.
According to the GBPS, “The presentation promises to be an enlightening journey into the world of digital philately. To give you the tools to help expand the way you collect, whether you are a seasoned collector, a newbie, or someone intrigued by the fusion of tradition and technology, this talk is tailored for you”.

With just a few weeks remaining until the opening of the 20th edition of the Balkanfila exhibition in Thessaloniki, the current newsletter presents a comprehensive narrative covering its history from the first edition in Varna in 1965 to last year’s 19th edition in Belgrade.
The 62nd National Philatelic Exhibition, EXFILNA 2024, organized by FESOFI, CORREOS, and the Vallisoletano Philatelic Group (EXFILNA 92, EXFILNA 04, and EXFILNA 2011), with the collaboration of the Hon. City Council of Valladolid, the Royal Mint-FNMT, the Federation of Philatelic Societies of Castilla y León, ANFIL, and EDIFIL, will be held in Valladolid from 2 to 6 October.
It will be hosted in two venues: the Cúpula del Milenio, by the Pisuerga River, just minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the train and bus stations. The PHILATELIC COLLECTIONS will be on display starting on 2 October. The INSTITUTIONAL STANDS OF CORREOS AND FNMT and the ECC (European Convention for Collectors) COMMERCIAL FAIR will be held in Plaza de Portugalete, next to the cathedral, starting on 3 October. Admission will be free at both locations.
