We are grateful to Alexios Papadopoulos for providing us with an extraordinary Season’s Greetings illustration for the third consecutive year. This enables us to extend—without delay—our warmest wishes to our readers for…

In celebration of its centenary, the Hellenic Philatelic Society (HPS) has released a publication showcasing its longstanding contributions to philately and culture. The publication highlights the richness of philately and its profound connections to history, sociology, the arts, and communication, as reflected in philatelic items. The Society aims to provide both the philatelic community and the general public with a book of exceptional quality in both content and aesthetics.
The 100th Anniversary Edition features philatelic items from the collections of HPS members and friends, all of which are, in some way, related to Greece. The 230 carefully selected and diverse items hold broad social interest, making them appealing to a wide audience. These items offer a unique perspective on philately and are organised into the following sections: Headlines, Artists and Works of Art, Symbolisms and Transformations, Emotions, Personalities, Friends and Enemies, Revolutions and Campaigns, Resistance, Exile and Captivity, Propaganda, Communities, Landmarks, Commerce and Money, Postal Matters, Oddities.
This 272-page bilingual book (in Greek and English) features four-colour offset printing, dimensions 24×33 cm, sewn binding, and a hardcover with a four-colour dust jacket.
