GBPS End-of-Year Press Release

2025 proved a great success for the Great Britain Philatelic Society (GBPS), which continues as the leading Society for collectors of GB stamps and postal history with over 850 members in the UK and across the world.

As usual the season kicked off in September with a display of County Postal History with Stephen Teuma leading the way with an excellent collection of Suffolk. September continued with a display at Stampex of Machins by Nigel Perrins. October saw a joint meeting with the Channel Islands Philatelic Society which was well attended with a wide range of material on show.

The year concluded with the usual Christmas Reception at Stanley Gibbons in December where members showed parts of their diverse collections. Maurice Buxton also provided a display of the Pools and the Post by Zoom in December.
