LIBEREC 2022 will ask for Patronage at the FEPA Congress on 23rd November
A draft Agreement has been reached to enable FEPA to grant Patronage to the LIBEREC 2022 exhibition. The FEPA Board’s recommendation that Patronage should be granted will be discussed by Congress at its meeting in Athens on 23rd November and, if approved, the Agreement will then be signed.
LIBEREC 2022 is being organised under the auspices of the Czech Philatelic Federation (SČF) and comprises a European Stamp Exhibition and a Polar Salon. The exhibition will take place from 13th – 16th October 2022 in the Wellness Centrum Babylon in the south of the City of Liberec, Czech Republic.
The exhibition will have 1,200 frames, of which 200 will be allocated to the Polar Salon. The exhibition will include a FEPA Grand Prix Class as well as the Traditional, Postal History, Thematic, Open Philately, Picture Postcard, Youth Philately, Philatelic Literature and One-Frame classes. Applications can also be made for 2- and 3-frame exhibits. The Organisers have already asked FEPA Members to nominate Commissioners and applications to exhibit should be submitted to National Commissioners by 31 January 2022. We strongly urge all FEPA Members to nominate a Commissioner and take part in this exhibition which promises to be another great event for European philatelists.
The Polar Salon will show exhibits of exceptional significance and the exhibition will also include a series of other events, including a display of race, early Czech stamps borrowed from the Postal Museum in Prague.
