MARE BALTICUM 2024 Palmares
MARE BALTICUM 2024 was organised by the Estonian Philatelic Federation and held in the Estonian National Museum, Tartu, from 26 to 28 July. The exhibition has been granted FEPA recognition and FIP sponsorship. On the 27th, a jury comprising 11 international judges evaluated 153 exhibits representing all FIP and FEPA philatelic disciplines. The big winners were:
Grand Prix National: Janne Nikkanen, “Historic old Tallinn in postcards”.
The GPN was donated by Oy Hellman Huutokaupat.
Grand Prix International: Jussi Murtosaari, “Finland, coat of arms, type 1875”.
The GPI was donated by Bill Hedley on behalf of FEPA.
Grand Prix Mare Balticum: Atte Moilanen, “The earliest Forms of Postal Delivery in Finland with focus on manuscript markings”.
The GPMB was donated by the FIP.
