SRBIJAFILA XVI: A Special Display

SRBIJAFILA XVI will be held from 7 to 11 October in Belgrade, Serbia, under FEPA Recognition.

A special place in the Honorary Class is reserved for a display dedicated to Alexander Boricic (1948–2026), featuring nine of his outstanding exhibits.

One of Serbia’s most distinguished philatelists and exhibitors, Boricic left a deep mark on Serbian philately. His interests were broad, ranging from postal history and postage due mail to wartime mail, aviation and airmail. Through these nine exhibits, visitors will be able to explore more than two centuries of the postal history of Serbia, Montenegro and Yugoslavia, together with different areas of his research and collecting.

Thanks to the generosity of his family, this valuable display offers a unique opportunity to see a significant part of his decades-long work and dedication to philately in one place. This is more than a selection of valuable material: it is a tribute to a man, his work and his passion for philately.
