Spring STAMPEX 15th-18th February 2017 with FEPA Recognition

The special attraction on this occasion was a once in a lifetime collection of exhibits showing material from the former Ottoman Empire. The idea for the theme was developed by Freddy Khalastchy and the late Francis Kiddle, and later with the support of Chris King from the ABPS Exhibitions and International Committee.

On the 22nd of February we have been informed of the election of Mr. Ivan Van Damme as President of the Belgian Federation for the period 2017-2021. Mr. Eddy Van Vaeck has been elected Honorary President. Congratulations and all best wishes for success.

The European Championship of Thematic Philately, ECTP, has published the lists of accepted exhibits by alphabetical order, by class and by country.

2ND CZECH-SLOVAK PHILATELIC EXHIBITION IN ZDAR NAD SAZAVOU

We are receiving today the report of the successful bilateral 2nd CZECH AND SLOVAK Philatelic Exhibition held in ZDAR NAD SAZAVOU which was again "pre-judged" via scanned exhibit pages using the EXPONET displaying and presentation technology.

The King and the Queen, Honorary Presidents of the FEPA Exhibitions MAXIESPAÑA and JUVENIA 2017

King Philipp VI and Queen Letizia have accepted the Honorary Presidency of the FEPA International Exhibitions MAXIESPAÑA and JUVENIA 2017 to be held in Aviles, Asturias, from the 10th to the 13th May 2017.

PRINTED THE FIRST ISSUE OF 2017 OF “FEPA NEWS” MAGAZINE, NOW ALSO ELECTRONIC VERSION AVAILABLE

A new issue of FEPA News, its number 30, was printed and distributed a few days ago. All the FEPA members Federations, Associations or Unions, are receiving the copies they requested for distribution within their countries. This number 30 covers the most relevant Philatelic events from June to December 2016, as well as information about the upcoming exhibitions and events of the first semester of 2017.
