3rd International Congress of Postal History in Prato
The 3rd International Conference “Postal History: Multidisciplinary Perspectives, Diachronic Perspectives,” organised by the “Aldo Cecchi” Institute of Postal History Studies in Prato, was held between 20 and 22 June. Three intense days involved three city venues: the Roncioniana Library, the State Archives, and the “Alessandro Lazzerini” Library. Thirty-one presentations by as many specialists, either in person or via videoconference from America, Asia, and Europe, with contributions in Italian, French, and English.
“They are university professors, scholars of the subject, and other experts who wish to compare their research, announce their findings, and weave connections for new studies,” explains the director of the ISSP, Bruno Crevato-Selvaggi. “In this period, our biennial initiative—this is the third we have organised—represents the only opportunity for such a meeting across the entire Old Continent.”
