Arbeitsgemeinschaft Österreich e.V.: Amendment to the Articles of Association
A strong signal for young people!

In the event of the possible dissolution of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Österreich (ArGe Österreich), the association’s assets will in future be distributed in equal parts to the Austrian (in the Association of Austrian Philatelists’ Clubs) and German youth organisations (Deutsche Philatelisten-Jugend e. V.) – and no longer to the BDPh, as was previously the case.

“With this decision, we are sending a clear signal for the future of philately: In the event of the worst-case scenario, we will provide targeted support to the next generation of collectors, thereby helping to keep our passion alive. We can all be proud to have now completed this important (and also lengthy) step – a step that will also positively reflect our work and our community’s commitment to youth organisations for many years to come,” explains Roman Bukovansky, head of Arge Österreich.

The Deutsche Philatelisten-Jugend is grateful for this decision, which is both an honour and a mission and motivation to show, explain and teach children and young people the hobby of stamp collecting.
