Christoph Gärtner, Managing Director of Auktionshaus Christoph Gärtner GmbH & Co. KG, has sent the following message to the philatelic community through the company’s website:
Since 2013, the annual CG International Philatelic Promotion Award is given to the best submission by a study group, society, club, association, or publisher of philatelic magazine or newsletter. The award promotes philatelic studies and the preservation of philatelic knowledge via published articles; this includes ‘the printed word’ and digital media as it relates to the promotion of youth philately.
Due to the pandemic situation and the accompanying exhibition cancellations, the awarding of the Promotion Award had to be omitted in the last two years. The valuable work of the communities of interest and the editors will now be honored again during MonacoPhil starting this year.
Closing date for entries is 31 August 2022. The public Award Ceremony of the “CG International Philatelic Promotion Award 2022” will be at the MonacoPhil 2022 on 24 November 2022.
