FEPA Certificate of Appreciation 2022
Marke & Munze Graz (Austria)

In 1991 the concept of an event combining philately and numismatic with a stamp exhibition was launched. The “Grazer Messe International” accepted to host the “Marke & Münze” in their industrial building. The organisers were nine philatelic clubs from Graz and the Carinthian philatelic club. This event took place in the fairground of Graz till 2005. Then the organisation moved to its current location in Seiersberg. Since 2007, the exhibition “Marke & Münze” has been held every second year. In 2016, a change of statutes made it possible for individuals to be members of the club. Currently, the “Marke & Münze” club has eight clubs and 19 persons as members. From 1991 to 2022, the philatelic club organised 34 events: 19 “Marke & Münze”, a trade fair with a stamp exhibition, which included five times the “ÖVEBRIA”, the annual exhibition of the Austria Federation; 8 editions of “Styria” – a stamp only exhibition; 6 special post events.
