Ferenc Nagy (1934-2026)

With great regret we note the passing on 13th April of Dr Ferenc Nagy at the age of 92. He was a giant of Hungarian philately with vast knowledge and an incomparable record of research over many years. He was a member of the Zalaegerszeg City Stamp Collectors’ Circle, an honorary member of MABÉOSZ, a member of the Postal History Section, a founding member of the Hungarian Philatelic Scientific Society, a founding member of the Circle of Ten, and a member of the Vindobona Club for several decades. He will be sorely missed.
