New publication by the Royal Hispanic Academy of Philately and Postal History (RAHFeHP): A monograph by Juan Antonio Llácer Gracia titled Nuevas Aportaciones sobre el Franqueo en las Demarcaciones Postales de Valencia y Alicante Durante los Siglos XVIII y XIX.
The monograph presents an in-depth investigation of prepaid mail in the Valencia and Alicante postal districts while also developing a new classification of postal marks based on their characteristics and morphological diversity. The work compiles and categorises the finest images of letters, packages, and documents related to prepaid and registered mail dispatched in these postal districts. It then thoroughly analyses the dispatch, transit, and arrival of addressed mail throughout different historical periods.
The 271-page book is available from the RAHFeHP as volume 53 in the Discursos Académicos series.
