The awards ceremony for the best French stamps of 2021 took place on 23rd June. This was the 31st time of such a selection process. More than 170 philatelic creations were in competition and more than 104,000 votes were sent in. The public had the opportunity to vote for their favorite philatelic products of La Poste for 2021 in seven different categories. A jury of experts (artists, philatelists, journalists, schools of art) voted for the best engraved miniature sheet.

A very interesting survey by the Deutsche Post on the current prices of mail in Europe was presented yesterday on the pages of the Spanish Federation (FESOFI).
The Deutsche Post has compared letter mail prices in the 27 member states of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland. Basic results show that:
(a) domestic letter rates range from €0.30 to €3.90 (view chart here).
(b) international rates for letters sent within Europe range from €0.59 to €4.84 (view chart here).
(c) inflation adjusted rates between 2012-21 range from 5.0-281.5% (view chart here).

Turkey: KÜTAHYA 2022 National Stamp Exhibition
The Federation of Turkish Philatelic Associations announced a national exhibition, which will be held in Kütahya, between 22 and 31 August, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day, when the last battle of the Greco-Turkish war took place in 1922.
