CAPEX 22 International One Frame Stamp Championship
CAPEX 22 is the first large international one frame exhibition. It will take place at the Metro Toronto Conference Centre (MTCC) in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, from 9 to 12 June 2022. A little over 400 exhibits are expected to participate. The exhibition will be held under FIP recognition. All the necessary details are on the exhibition’s website: https://capex22.org
The organisers have already distributed 18 newsletters since the beginning of their campaign. It is never too late to subscribe if you haven’t already. Keep in mind that the newsletters are bilingual: in French and English. You can read the most recent one right here.
MICHEL database with stamps from all over the world
Schwaneberger Verlag has revised and updated the large MICHEL-Online database. It contains the cataloguing from the 16 printed catalogues about European stamps, the 20 catalogues about stamps from overseas and the MICHEL catalogue Germany with all price evaluations and many thousands of high-resolution stamp images. You can search for all contained stamps by many search criteria, for example also for themes. Data on European and many other countries are now also completely available in English.
Club members of all worldwide collectors associations permanently pay lower subscription fees. The Danish Postal History Society celebrates its 50th anniversary
The Danish Postal History Society (Dansk Posthistorisk Selskab, DPHS)`was founded in 1972. This weekend, 26-27 March, the Society celebrates its 50th anniversary, with a 200-frame exhibition featuring postal history exhibits only. The exhibition, called POST ’22, will take place in the Hornslethallerne Sports and Culture Centre, in Hornslet.
The DPHS was honoured with the FEPA Certificate of Appreciation in 2013.
