The Icelandic Federation is getting prepared to host NORDIA 2023 in Garðabær next year, between 2 and 4 June. In 2023 the Icelandic philately will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the first stamp issue in Iceland and the organisers want to commemorate such a major philatelic event with a spectacular exhibition.
This is the ninth time that a NORDIA exhibition will be held in Iceland. The exhibition rotates between the Nordic countries and visits Iceland every five years. The last two Icelandic NORDIA shows were hosted in Garðabær and received a lot of praise from the neighbours for their great facilities and beautiful setup.
Because of the pandemic, the last NORDIA exhibition took place in August 2019, in Sarpsborg, Norway.

“Marrianne, les visages de la République” is an exhibition at the Musée de la Poste, scheduled to remain open until September 2023. Marianne is a female figure which dates back into the years of the French Revolution, appears continuously on regular French stamps since 1944, changes its appearance only after a presidential mandate, and is expected to be modified once more in 2023.
The exhibition invites visitors to discover and find out all the proposed figures of Marianne during the past years, whether they have or haven’t been approved.
