To celebrate the opening of the postal historical museum at the Bauernhof in Goldau, the Kimmel Foundation has invited visitors to HELVETIA 2022 to take part in specially-organised tours in Switzerland. Two tours are offered with accommodation at the 4* Ameron Hotel Flora in Lucerne and free public transport throughout Switzerland for the entire duration of the stay in addition to transport for organised excursions and some invitations. The team behind Stamp Collector magazine and the allaboutstamps.co.uk website have teamed up with the Museum of Philately to announce a series of special webinars on the world of stamps and stamp collecting. The press release is at:
The series starts on 19 July with ‘Fakes, Forgeries and Funnies’ and runs until November 2021′. Each webinar will include a presentation, a practical advice section, and a Q&A session.
The webinars will be presented by Marcus Orsi, Senior Philatelist at David Feldman SA, and Devlan Kruck, the UK’s Regional Representative for the auction firm, and will be hosted by Matt Hill, Editor of Stamp Collector. Each webinar will cost £10 to attend and will include a presentation, practical advice, and a Q&A session. A special ‘Season Pass’ gives collectors the chance to attend every session for a special rate, starting at just £25 for Stamp Collector subscribers.
