The false seals of the Republic of Venice and its implication are thoroughly depicted.The Constantinople of the ‘300 up to the reconstruction of the Bailo’s Palace is narrated.The great consideration the Republic of Venice had in the transport of mail is emphasized. In the galleys, as a rule, there were always two bags for the transport of mail; the courier was always given special and free accommodation.
