Succesful Nordia 2014 exhibition

Nordia is a traditional Nordic exhibition for the Nordic countries Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden as well as the Scandinavian Collectors Club from the United States. The first Nordia was arranged in Helsinki, Finland, in 1966. This time Nordia was arranged for the 31st time.

The exhibition was held at the Varemesse building in Lilleström, some 15 minute train trip away from the centre of Oslo, along with a huge Christmas fair with tens of thousands of visitors.

One of the highlights of the exhibition was stamps of the collection of the late King Olav V. This was the first time ever these were on show.

The Palmares was held at Posthallen in Oslo, the building which used to be the main post office. The evening was very pleasant. The top moment was the result reading of the Championship Class. The winner was Tom Komnaes with his exhibit The postal history of Norwegian skilling covers.
