RPSL presentation on QEII Wilding stamps available to view
The Royal Philatelic Society London held its first ‘virtual’ meeting on 23rd April, with well over 100 members from many countries around the world taking part via Zoom.
Frank Walton gave a 30 minute presentation about the origins and evolution of the Queen Elizabeth II ‘Wilding’ stamps, the standard definitives in use in the UK between 1953 and 1967. This was followed by a lively Question and Answer session and the whole meeting lasted for about an hour.
RPSL plans to hold further on-line meetings every two weeks while the current restrictions on movement continue. They will also make the presentations available for public viewing on YouTube.

This was the first pilot, and RPSL are working to resolve a few minor issues of sound quality for the next display to members on 7th May.
