The latest Junge Sammler with television as the main topic

Educational medium or telly? The image of television has changed. Nevertheless, the television can be found in almost every living room. For smaller children, it is often an introduction to the world of media. One reason to take a look at the television is Young Collectors. The new issue with this main theme comes to its young readers in this day. Of course, there is again a large number of interesting reports for readers young at heart.
The main theme starts with the comic by Fridolin and Filou. From the children’s program with Sesame Street and the evening greeting to the stamp issues on the development of television in Germany, animal films and the Tatort series. The article on radio license fees provides a link to postal history. With a simple baking recipe for rosemary biscuits, there is also a tasty alternative to nibbling on long TV evenings.
Photo reports from the IBRA and the annual general meeting in Essen and the regional reports show that there is a lot to experience with the young stamp enthusiasts. Hence the reference to the forthcoming NAPOSTA in Trier with the German team championships and the youth meeting in the youth hostel in Trier. Participation is also popular in the mini-competition in Hamm 2024. The booklet contains a lot of practical information on how easy it is to take part in this competition.
Two posts deal with dinosaurs, one post revolves around motorcycle racing on the Isle of Man. Another article deals with the topic of peace on the new Europa stamps. Literature reviews and information on the new personalized sheets from the UN postal administration complete the articles. The young collectors’ quiz again offers the opportunity to win nice prizes. The event overview shows upcoming exhibitions with visit and participation options. The booklet once again gives children and young people the opportunity to get enthusiastic about the wonderful hobby of stamp collecting and to actively use the various offers with them.
The Junge Sammler magazine is the member newspaper of the Deutsche Philatelisten-Jugend (DPhJ). Members of local youth groups receive the booklet directly in the mail as part of their membership.
