
NOTOS 2015 LATEST NEWS: Newsletter from the 30th of January
The exhibition logo was unveiled and officially presented on 29 January at the Hellenic Philotelic Society premises. The red needle of a compass, strangely pointing South, interprets easily the Greek word NOTOS into the world’s languages.

The recent issue of “FILATELIA” cover all main philatelic activities of the Romanian Federation in the period 2011-2014, including the International Exhibitions. Also it is plenty of interesting articles from Wolfgang Maassen , Francisc Ambrus , Alexandru Bartoc , Julieta Pascanu etc. Also includes the 799 special postmarks 2011-2015, with good images of all of them.

Enrico Veschi died on 23 January in Rome. He was born in Arcevia (Ancona) on 28 August 1926

It is with deep regret that we have to annouce the death of Mr Ladislav Dvoracek, RDP on 22nd January 2015 at the age of 92.

Great success of EGYPT 2015 – 1st Arab Continental Exhibition
Under the patronage of the Egyptian Post Office, The Philately Society of Egypt celebrated its first continental exhibition from the 1st of January until the 6th of January 2015 in the Faculty of Fine Arts located in the elite Zamalek District of Cairo. The exhibition period coincided with the Post Day on the 2nd of January and also celebrated the passing of 150years since establishing the Egyptian Post Office.
