Young philatelists in Germany prepare for Christmas
The Deutsche Philatelisten-Jugend e.V. have issued a press release about the novel approach being taken by one group in South West Germany to prepare for the Christmas period in this year of COVID restrictions on meeting and travelling. The press release is attached.
The idea, created by Roman Machauer for the Young Philatelists’ Group in Bruchsal-Hambrücken, is to provide young people with Christmas motifs through its website that they can download, print, cut and paste to form postcards. They can then send the cards to the Christ Child setting out what they would like for Christmas. Apparently, an answer is guaranteed!
