1 & 2 Post Schilling 1850
The book about the Schleswig-Holstein Post Schilling stamps from 1850 includes all known and available information about their history of creation, technical production and the political circumstances surrounding their publication and use. In addition to a reproduction and analysis of all the positions of the stamps in the sheet and their individual characteristics, as they appear on four recently rediscovered full sheets in Copenhagen’s Enigma Museum, it presents a representative selection of illustrations with accompanying descriptions of the stamps’ postal use. The primary purpose of the book is thus to provide a comprehensive and as complete as possible account of the creation, appearance, plating and short period of use of these stamps.
