The Philatelic Traders’ Society is proud to announce that Virtual Stampex is back for 2023, and promises to deliver an even more exciting philatelic experience for collectors all around the world
The Philatelic Traders’ Society is delighted to announce that Virtual Stampex will take place from 4th – 6thMay 2023, timed to celebrate the King Charles III Coronation weekend and the anniversary of the very first postage stamp, the Penny Black.
Virtual Stampex 2023 will run for 72 hours with over 50 dealer booths, an exhibiting experience and Stampex Talks. New to our immersive experience this year, we are introducing a fantastic philatelic matchmaking tool so that you can meet and video chat with collectors with similar interests to you or find a dealer with relevant material. We are also bringing visitors a new chance to connect on popular topics with live philatelic roundtables for panel discussions, collector clinics and the chance to meet big philatelic names in an informal setting.
We have improved the technology we are using so that the whole event is fully integrated allowing visitors to move seamlessly around the show. Live chat and video calling is available across the event itself to help you connect with friends and fellow collectors from around the globe. The virtual briefcase will enable you to email yourself all relevant catalogues, information packs, price lists and more. We are also excited to announce that we will be making Virtual Stampex available via an App for even easier and more user friendly access direct from your phone or tablet.
This world class philatelic show will be On Demand for 30 days after the live dates which means visitors can browse booths and offers, leave messages, watch the Stampex Talks in the Auditorium and more.
Registration for the event will open soon. All updates on the show will be posted first either on social media or in the newsletter so make sure you are following the PTS & Stampex @ptsandstampex and sign up to the Newsletter at stampexinternational.com/signup
In 2020 and 2021, Virtual Stampex attracted over 8,000 unique visitors from over 100 countries. Virtual Stampex 2023 will have something for everyone so for now, please save the date: 4th – 6th May, and share the news with your friends. Alongside Stampex 2023 at the Business Design Centre in London, 27th – 30th September, the PTS and Stampex Sponsor, Spink, are delighted to be bringing the Stampex experience to as many collectors as possible this year.
Art, conservation, culture, entertainment: the common threads that characterize the “Tavolo dei «postali»” is coming back for the third digital cycle under the title “La posta mai immaginata”. Ten Zoom presentations with free participation. They will take place every Monday at 18:00 (CET) starting from 23 January. Once again, they are proposed by the Historical Museum of Communication (now the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy), the “Aldo Cecchi” Institute of Postal Studies, OdV, the Italian Philatelic Press Union and the “Vaccari news” digital newspaper.
In order to participate, all you need to do is ask for the link, a few days before the single meeting, at museo.comunicazioni@mise.gov.it. Subsequently, the recordings will be posted on the Youtube page of the cultural hub headed by Mimit.

The Fête du Timbre will be spread out throughout France, with roughly one hundred participant towns, as it is customary every year. This is a major philatelic event, aiming also at non-philatelists, trying to introduce them to all possible aspects of philately.
This year’s theme is Mobility by bicycle. An electric bicycle is depicted on the postage stamp and cycle tourism on the miniature sheet, both to be issued by La Poste.
