It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jørgen Jørgensen, past president of FEPA (2009-2013) and member of the FEPA Board since 2001.
Jørgen became a member of the Danish Philatelic Society in 1998 and has received great recognition for his work for philately. He has been a Board member of the Copenhagen Philatelic Klub (KPK) and the Danish Philatelic Federation (DFF), and honoured with the KPK Medal and the DFF Gold Pin. In 2015, he signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.

Jørgen Jørgensen (1944-2024)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jørgen Jørgensen, past president of FEPA (2009-2013) and member of the FEPA Board since 2001.
Jørgen became a member of the Danish Philatelic Society in 1998 and has received great recognition for his work for philately. He has been a Board member of the Copenhagen Philatelic Klub (KPK) and the Danish Philatelic Federation (DFF), and honoured with the KPK Medal and the DFF Gold Pin. In 2015, he signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists.
He died on 5 January 2024.
