JUPHILA 2016. Promotion of Philately through the Youth: The German Championship of Young Philatelists

The German Federation, BDPh - Bund Deutscher Philatelisten, leaded by the President Uwe Decker, gives an important role to the activities with the Youth. The JUPHILA 2016 held in Mainz from the 16th to the 18th of September has been a new event of efficient and friendly work for the future of Philately.

New Board of the Polish Philatelists Union

The National Congress of the Polish Philatelists Union held in Iława, has elected the new Main Board wich consists of President, Mr. Henryk Monkos. Vice-President, Mr. Jerzy Białas. Vice-President, Mr.Józef Kuczborski. Secretary, Ms. Joanna Boniśniak. Treasurer, Mr. Janusz Dunst.

News from the Union of the Philatelists of Macedonia

The Union of the Philatelists of Macedonia has presented us with an interesting new book, the “Small Philatelic Lexicon” by Klime Popovski. It is the first philatelic book published in the country.

Live broadcast by Internet two Seminars at the FEPA Exhibition EXFILNA 2016

Today has been broadcast the Seminars of Thematic Philately “How to improve my thematic exhibit?” and of Postal History “The use of the present Regulations”. Both can be reviewed in You Tube.

Great success of ODESSAPHILEX 2016, International Philatelic Exhibition with FEPA Recognition

From the 24th to the 28th of August was celebrated the International Philatelic Exhibition with FEPA Recognition "ODESSAPHILEX-2016" commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine. At the event participated exhibits from Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Belarus and Hungary.

Full Recognition of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to AICO, the International Association of Olympic Collectors

At the 129th IOC Session in Rio de Janeiro, full IOC recognition was granted to AICO, pursuant to Article 3.7 of the Olympic Charter. AICO, under the Presidency of Dr. Roman Andrzej Babut, Thematic Juror and Honorary Memeber of the Polish Philatelists Union, is “A center of excellence for understanding and fostering the Olympic Movement through collectibles”.

9 Large Gold and 19 Gold Medals awarded at the FEPA Exhibition GMUNDEN 2016

From the 25th to the 28th August has been held the 20th Edition of the GMUNDEN Philatelic Exhibition, that for the 3rd consecutive year had the FEPA Recognition.
