FEPA proposes new regulations for Philatelic Literature
The rapid development and dissemination of philatelic knowledge and research across a wide range of digital platforms has necessitated a reassessment of the regulations and guidelines for evaluating Philatelic Literature exhibits.
As reported at the last FEPA Congress, a Philatelic Literature Experts Team led by Giancarlo Morolli and including Wolfgang Maassen and Ari Muhonen worked for several months under the auspices of FEPA to produce supplementary rules to the FIP General Regulations for Exhibitions (GREX), as well as new Special Regulations for the Evaluation of Philatelic Literature exhibits (Literature SREV). The two resulting documents were submitted by FEPA to the FIP Literature Commission for approval at the forthcoming FIP Congress, to be held in June 2026 in Macao. National delegates representing FEPA members in such a Commission will have the opportunity to review the documents for further improvement.
