David Feldman introduces the on-line Museum of Philately

 

At the virtual Stampex held from 1st – 3rd October David Feldman introduced his plan to build a digital Museum of Philately. The idea is to have an on-line platform where images of collections can be stored and available to view long after the actual collection has been disposed of. In a video that is now on YouTube David described how he had already put his own ‘Emerald’ collection into the Museum.

This is an interesting idea for dealing with the eternal question of, ‘How can I preserve my collection for posterity?’
