New FIAF Board elected, Mr. Patricio Aguirre from Chile new President
At the XLVIII Assembly of the Inter-American Philatelic Federation (FIAF) held June 6th, 2014 in Varadero, Cuba, the new Executive Council for the 2014-2018 period was duly elected, according to the statutes approved at the XLVII Assembly held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this being the first election held under those statutes.
President – Patricio Aguirre Warden (Chile)
Vice-President – Luis Claudio Fritzen (Brasil)
Secretary – Juan Pablo Aguilar (Ecuador)
Treasurer – James Taylor (Canada)
Consultant 1 – Yamil H. Kouri Jr. (USA)
Consultant 2 – Manuel Arango E. (Colombia)
Consultant 3 – José Raúl Lorenzo (Cuba)

FEPA Celebrates its 25th Anniversary
FEPA represents philatelists of 43 national Federations, Associations or Unions from European and othe Mediterranean countries.
The celebration of the 25th Anniversary will be held at the FEPA Congress on 13 September in Lugano, Switzerland, during the Alpe-Adria Exhibition. Don’t miss it!

Two first writings published in “This is my opinion” section
“This is my opinion” is a new section on this website. It gives the opportunity to openly express and exchange opinions and wishes concerning FEPA, European Philately, and philately at large.
