From the 5th to the 8th of November has been held the Bulgarian National Exhibition in Veliko Tarnovo, the ancient capital of the country.

A new Board has been elected at the „Verband Österreichischer Philatelisten-Vereine“, the Austrian Philatelic Federation, for the period October 2015- September 2019. The new President is Helmut KOGLER, Vice-President Alfred KUNZ, Treasurer Horst HORIN

Over 35 national and international jurors from 15 FEPA countries gathered in Budapest on 16 October for a three-day FEPA seminar on judging techniques organised by Mr.Denes CZIROK under the auspices of the Hungarian Philatelic Federation (MABEOSZ).

Following on from the production of the IREX, the Agreement between the FEPA and the Philatelic Federation of Finland SFFF and the Foundation for Promoting Finnish Philately was signed in Tampere Hall on Saturday 3 October 2015.

The Italian philatelists meet in Florence, the town of Donatello and Michelangelo at the national exhibition “Florence 2015”, whilst Rome, hosts a top philatelic event: “Quirinal Palace Open Doors to Philately”. The Quirinale palace, seat of the Popes, the Kings and now of the Presidents of the Italian Republic.

It was a real successful exhibition with more than 80 collections. There was a special room only for Astrophilately organized by Mr. Igor Rodin with the presence of two active Russian cosmonauts: Oleg Artemyev and Roman Romanenko

In 2016 the Portuguese Federation of Philately will commemorate 50 years of LUBRAPEX Exhibitions between Portugal and Brazil. For this outstanding Anniversary will also participate the Federations of Germany and Italy, in the beautiful city of Viana do Castelo, near Porto.

On the last week of June were sent to all the FEPA Federations for its distribution the requested copies of the number 27 of our magazine “FEPA News”, covering the second semester of 2015. It shows the most relevant Philatelic events from January to June, information about the upcoming exhibitions and seminars, as well as the FEPA Calendar and other interesting information and articles. The European Academy of Philately, AEP, organized an outstanding meeting during London 2015 EUROPHILEX, in which were presented 17 Displays of the highest interest.

From the 13th to the 16th of May was held London 2015 EUROPHILEX”. This show was an innovation in the international philatelic calendar.

The initial target of 800 frames was easily surpassed, since our friends-exhibitors mainly from the countries of the European South applied for considerably more frames in their entry forms. The Organizing Committee decided to increase the total exhibition space to 3500 m2

FEPA Honorary President Dr. Alan Huggins shares his opinion about the present situation of philately.

From the 18th to the 25th of March, collectors from Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, New Zealand, Pakistan and Turkey meet in Çanakkale to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Çanakkale Wars (Gallipoli Campaign) and to promote friendly relations and maintain close cooperation among the philatelists of the countries involved in the Çanakkale Wars.

On the 22nd of March, the Féderation des Sociétés Philateliques du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg, elected the corresponding part of the Board, according to their Statutes

The exhibition wanted to present a range of the richness and diversity of the Croatian flora in philately

In its meeting held in London on 20 February 2015, the FEPA Board analyzed the proposals submitted by member Federations and agreed on awarding the 2014 FEPA Medals and Certificates of Appreciation as follows: FEPA Medal 2014 for Exceptional Service to Organized Philately: ANTHONY VIRVILIS RDP (Greece). FEPA Medal 2014 for Exceptional Philatelic Study and Research: FRANK WALTON (Great Britain), editor of The De La Rue Collection, volumes 1 to 6. The runners-up were

FEPA News 26, just published, includes the main philatelic events held in Europe and other Mediterranean countries during the second half of 2014 as well as the information about the events taking place in 2015.

The recent issue of “FILATELIA” cover all main philatelic activities of the Romanian Federation in the period 2011-2014, including the International Exhibitions. Also it is plenty of interesting articles from Wolfgang Maassen , Francisc Ambrus , Alexandru Bartoc , Julieta Pascanu etc. Also includes the 799 special postmarks 2011-2015, with good images of all of them.

Under the patronage of the Egyptian Post Office, The Philately Society of Egypt celebrated its first continental exhibition from the 1st of January until the 6th of January 2015 in the Faculty of Fine Arts located in the elite Zamalek District of Cairo. The exhibition period coincided with the Post Day on the 2nd of January and also celebrated the passing of 150years since establishing the Egyptian Post Office.

The FEPA Representative at the Bureau of the FIP Commission for Postal History, Per Friis Mortensen, has sent to us its Activity Report 2014 within the FEPA area, which demonstrate the increasing importance of PH in Exhibitions and Seminars.

Nordia 2014 was held in Lilleström near Oslo on November 21-23 2014.

The exhibition held in Plovdidv, promoted Philately through over 120 publications, 10 news in the most watched Bulgarian TV and 25 radio interviews.

The Croatian Philatelic Federation and the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Associations, have signed an Agreement of Collaboration which will start with the “Croatia-Spain 2015" exhibition in Zagreb

On occasion of the 25th Anniversary of FEPA, the Honorary Presidents Mr. Alan Huggins, Mr. Pedro Vaz Pereira and Mr. Jørgen Jørgensen attended the FEPA Congress and received the Homage for their "Exceptional contribution to the European Philately".
