Francis Kiddle has died this morning
It is my very sad responsibility to have to tell you that Francis Kiddle died this morning. Francis was diagnosed with lung cancer just over two months ago, and he spent three weeks in hospital with pneumonia. He came home just over a week ago. He died surrounded by his family.

A great philatelist has passed away : Teddy Dahinden
On the 12th of September has died in Esslingen, Switzerland, Dr. Theodore (Teddy) Dahinden RDP, at the age of 89 years. Promoter of the Astrophilately Class, he was a great Thematic exhibitor and Juror. President of the Swiss Philatelic Federation for 11 years he was also Director and FIP Vice-president.

CROATICA 2015 INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION: THE COMPLETE PALMARES
The Croatian Philatelic Federation (HFS) celebrated its 75th Anniversary with the National Stamp Exhibition with international participation of their partner Federations from Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic and Hungary in the French Pavilion of Ehemahligen in the fair complex of Zagreb, from the 31st of March to the 4th of April 2015. The exhibition Grand Prix was for José Pedro Gómez-Agüero for its Large Gold Aero exhibit “Aerial post over Spain 1919-1939”.

The 53th Spanish National Exhibition “EXFILNA 2015” was held in Avilés, from the 13th to the 21st of March, participating exhibits from the 14 Spanish Regional Federations and from Italy as invited guest. The Grand Prix of the Championship Class was for “Postal Stationery of Peru” from Germán Bachwitz. The Exhibition Grand Prix was for Francisco Infantes’s exhibit “Alfonso XIII Proofs and Essays”. The best Italian exhibit was “Venice, disinfected mail” from Franco Rigo, Large Gold with 95 points

The DFH Philatelic “Open University”
As few days ago was informed, the DFH has been one of the three European Clubs receiving the FEPA Certificate of Appreciation of the year. The Djurslands Filatelistiske Højskole (DFH) is a philatelic school of high level for adult stamp collectors and exhibitors. In Denmark we call it a “high school” meaning a sort of Open University. The teaching consists of lectures on a particular topic often supported by displaying an exhibit on the subject. DFH has all modern presentation techniques.

The exhibition logo was unveiled and officially presented on 29 January at the Hellenic Philotelic Society premises. The red needle of a compass, strangely pointing South, interprets easily the Greek word NOTOS into the world’s languages.

OUTSTANDING BOOK OF THE ROMANIAN PHILATELIC FEDERATION

Great success of EGYPT 2015 – 1st Arab Continental Exhibition
Under the patronage of the Egyptian Post Office, The Philately Society of Egypt celebrated its first continental exhibition from the 1st of January until the 6th of January 2015 in the Faculty of Fine Arts located in the elite Zamalek District of Cairo. The exhibition period coincided with the Post Day on the 2nd of January and also celebrated the passing of 150years since establishing the Egyptian Post Office.

OFFICIAL STAMP FOR A MEMBER OF FIP COMMISSION
Yesterday, the 5th of December, the Slovak Post issued a stamp (Pofis No.579, face value 0,60 €) to honour the great philatelist Severín Zrubec, Chairman of the Union of Slovak Philatelic Societies (1969 − 1979) and member of the Thematic Philately Commission of FIP (1972 - 1984).

Succesful FEPA Jury Seminar in Berlin
The FEPA Jury Seminar 2014, took place from 10th to 12th October in Berlin with participants from seven European nations. At the start of the training, the two keynote speakers and group coaches, Dr. Wolf Heß for Postal History and Vojtech Jankovic for Thematic Philately, gave presentations on the lead topics.

On September 27,2014, at extraordinary Congress of AsPU (ASSOCIATION OF PHILATELISTS OF UKRAINE), which took place in Kiev, Mr. Dmitry Frenkel was elected as the president of AsPU.
