On the 27th of December, the FEPA Board has granted the Recognition to ODESSAPHILEX-2016 . The Exhibition will be held from the 24 to the 28 August, 2016 in the Sea gallery of the exhibition center of Odessa Marine Station, Ukraine. The invited Federations are Greece, Germany, Poland, Belarus, Israel, Austria, Bulgaria and Czech Republic.

This year’s Monacophil s, which had FEPA Recognition, specialized in Polar philately. One of the main attractions at MonacoPhil 2015 was the exhibition of rarities including the famous British Guiana 1 Cent Magenta which was on display.

The 34 National Federations present at the recent FEPA Congress, granted unanimously the FEPA Recognition to “ROSSICA 2016”, to be held from 20 to 22 May 2016 at the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin.

The “EXFILNA 2016” will be held in Zaragoza, Spain, from the 14th to the 18th of September 2016. Over 850 frames will show many of the best Spanish exhibits as well as a valuable participation of philatelists from Croatia and Israel.

According to the request of Dr. Eng. Sherif Samra, the 3RD CONTINENTAL PHILATELIC EXHIBITION to be held in Cairo, Egypt, from the 31st December 2015 to the 6th of January 2016, received the FEPA Recognition at the FEPA Congress in Athens.

It is my very sad responsibility to have to tell you that Francis Kiddle died this morning. Francis was diagnosed with lung cancer just over two months ago, and he spent three weeks in hospital with pneumonia. He came home just over a week ago. He died surrounded by his family.

On the 12th of September has died in Esslingen, Switzerland, Dr. Theodore (Teddy) Dahinden RDP, at the age of 89 years. Promoter of the Astrophilately Class, he was a great Thematic exhibitor and Juror. President of the Swiss Philatelic Federation for 11 years he was also Director and FIP Vice-president.

Was organised by the Union of Philatelists of Belarus, Ministry of Communications and Informatics of Belarus, Enterprise of Post Communications Belpost, National Art Museum of Belarus.

Dear Frank, I was fortunate to be a Commissioner at the LONDON 2015 EUROPHILEX FEPA EXHIBITION, which I will never forget. In spite of the short duration of only four days, it was a great exhibition that all of us enjoyed with many different and interesting shows, duties, and activities

The 53th Spanish National Exhibition “EXFILNA 2015” was held in Avilés, from the 13th to the 21st of March, participating exhibits from the 14 Spanish Regional Federations and from Italy as invited guest. The Grand Prix of the Championship Class was for “Postal Stationery of Peru” from Germán Bachwitz. The Exhibition Grand Prix was for Francisco Infantes’s exhibit “Alfonso XIII Proofs and Essays”. The best Italian exhibit was “Venice, disinfected mail” from Franco Rigo, Large Gold with 95 points

New RDPs to Sign The Roll Of Distinguished Philatelists in Leeds on the 7th August 2015 The Board of Election unanimously decided to ask Jørgen Jørgensen FRPSL (Denmark), James P. Mazepa FRPSL (United States), Stephen D. Schumann FRPSL (United States), and Frank Walton FRPSL (United Kingdom) to sign the Roll.

From the 17th to the 22nd of February 2015, the Business Design Centre of London hosted the National British Exhibition with USA participation. The collaboration of the ABPS, Association of British Philatelic Societies and the PTS, Philatelic Traders Society has been again the pillar of the event.

The exhibition logo was unveiled and officially presented on 29 January at the Hellenic Philotelic Society premises. The red needle of a compass, strangely pointing South, interprets easily the Greek word NOTOS into the world’s languages.

It is with deep regret that we have to annouce the death of Mr Ladislav Dvoracek, RDP on 22nd January 2015 at the age of 92.
